Mitutoyo 547-500S digital thickness gauge, standard ID-S body, is for taking precise thickness measurements of thin products such as sheet metal, plastic, or rubber workpieces. This gauge has a measurement range of 0 to 0.47″ (0 to 12mm), a resolution of 0.0005″, and an accuracy of Plus or, 0.001″. The LCD screen displays in inches and metric units. The contact point and anvil for this gauge are flat and are constructed of ceramic for corrosion-resistance. This gauge has a grip handle, thumb trigger, and spring-loaded spindle for taking accurate measurements. Additional functions for this gauge include origin setting and direction changeover. This model has a measuring force of 1.5 Newtons (N) or less. The unit has a battery life of 20,000 hours. An SR-44 battery is included.
